Tesla is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their Drive Unit Final Assembly team in Sparks, Nevada. Responsibilities For Sr. Process Engineer, Drive Unit Final Assembly

  • Develop expertise in manufacturing processes and optimize production methodologies
  • Analyze and optimize production processes to ensure safety while maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Diagnose issues during manufacturing process and drive corrective actions
  • Analyze data to identify trends in build quality and efficiency
  • Monitor and reduce process variation using statistical techniques
  • Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions and train sustaining technicians
  • Support Manufacturing Equipment Engineering teams
  • Support 24/7 production operations

Requirements For Sr. Process Engineer, Drive Unit Final Assembly

Python
MySQL
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 6+ years of industrial experience in high pace production environment
  • Expert level knowledge of statistical tools (SPC, DOE, ANOVA)
  • Experience with design software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, or CATIA)
  • Data collection and analysis experience with MySQL
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience driving high impact OPEX/CAPEX projects
  • Understanding of ladder logic programming
