As a Sr. Software Engineer in the Energy Product Software Commercial UI team at Tesla, you will have a profound impact on the energy industry, shaping a more sustainable future by developing user interfaces and supporting systems for cutting-edge energy products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on visual planning tools for managing and growing the Tesla Supercharger network
- Developing support tools for managing and configuring distributed energy resources globally
- Utilizing massive telemetry datasets to provide real-time inspection and diagnosis of Tesla's entire fleet of consumer, commercial, and industrial products
- Building, deploying, and scaling web systems using modern technologies like Git, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Designing and engineering modern user experiences with TypeScript, React, Redux, D3, WebGL, Next.js, GraphQL, Fastify, and nginx
- Collaborating with the design team to create world-class UI/UX designs using Figma
- Providing technical and product leadership to drive innovation
- Optimizing processes and practices to enhance customer experience and accelerate delivery

The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of experience building front-end applications and supporting APIs

- High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance
- Proficiency in analyzing large telemetry datasets
