Description For Sr. Software QA Engineer

You will join a small, expert team building the internal applications for the tax and accounting teams which cover Tesla's vehicle, energy, and solar businesses. You will contribute to building scalable and high-performing applications to help Tesla's finance team track and achieve the company's financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building world-class software and a track record of success creating scalable software systems. You will need strong quality assurance engineering skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and experience accepting and giving meaningful feedback on technical designs and pull requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and automate for 3rd parties and in-house accounting system applications based out of C# .net
  • Complete validation for releases and continued testing support during sprint cycles
  • Perform in-depth testing using various methodologies including Manual, Automated, Performance, Security System testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Black-box Testing, and White-box testing

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript and C# for writing automated tests
  • Experience with version control tools like Git
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI
  • Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA
  • SQL skills for data validation and backend testing
  • UI validations and Angular tools experience
  • Performance screening and benchmarking new features
  • Interface testing with API calls, Postman, C# class libraries
  • Familiarity with financial/treasury/tax systems and processes
