Responsibilities For Sr. Staff Post Silicon Validation Engineer

  • Develop Post-Silicon validation plan, debug tools, and infrastructure for Tesla's custom SoCs
  • Interface with cross-functional teams and external vendors/partners
  • Create detailed bringup and validation test plans for SoC IPs
  • Tune IP blocks for optimal power/functional performance
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware bugs and field returns
  • Participate in hardware design and schematics review
  • Develop firmware and build automated test infrastructures

Requirements For Sr. Staff Post Silicon Validation Engineer

Linux
Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in ARM or x86 System on Chip Architectures
  • Experience with JTAG, GDB and assembly code debug
  • Experience in debug/bringup of high speed interfaces
  • Programming skills in C/C++ or Python
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and Scripting
  • Experience with Statistical Data Analysis
  • Knowledge of Schematics and PCB design
