Responsibilities For Sr. Technical Program Manager, Drive Unit

  • Maintain program information and ensure team awareness of deliverables and critical dates
  • Manage build plans across multiple programs and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Track key component and program metrics including performance, cost, reliability, mass, and schedule
  • Lead critical action plans for design and quality risks
  • Lead development of testing and validation timelines
  • Manage prototype sourcing and logistics
  • Facilitate logistics and tracking for priority projects
  • Document lessons learned and implement best practices
  • Collaborate with vehicle system teams on product updates
  • Lead execution of Tesla Engineering Development Process

Requirements For Sr. Technical Program Manager, Drive Unit

  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Aerospace Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Minimum 4 years experience in project management for complex electro-mechanical products
  • Experience in automotive industry desired
  • Experience with drive systems and drive inverters preferred
  • Proactive, highly organized, and detail oriented
  • Strong technical communication ability
  • Experience analyzing product metrics and business cases
