Sr. Technical Program Manager, Drive Unit

Tesla is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join their Drive Units team, playing a crucial role in advancing automotive electric drivetrain technology. The role involves leading new product launches and improvement projects for Tesla's electric vehicle drive units, working directly with Tesla's world-class engineering teams from initial design through to full production. As a TPM, you'll be deeply involved in technical aspects of drive unit development, leading root cause investigations, technical reviews, and validation planning. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and testing requirements for EV products, along with the ability to identify and manage technical risks effectively.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of project management experience in complex electro-mechanical products, with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics. Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with drive systems and inverters, is highly valued.
