Sr. Telecom Designer, IT Infrastructure Engineering

Tesla is seeking a Senior Telecom Designer to join their IT Infrastructure Engineering team at the GigaFactory in Austin. This role is crucial for the development and implementation of telecommunications infrastructure across Tesla's expanding manufacturing facilities in Texas. The position requires a seasoned professional with BICSI RCDD certification who will work closely with Tesla Construction, Manufacturing Engineers, and IT Networking teams.

The role involves comprehensive telecommunications infrastructure design, including structured cabling, pathway systems, and communication room layouts. You'll be responsible for coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines, ensuring designs meet Tesla's standards while staying within budget and schedule constraints. The position requires expertise in BIM design environments, particularly Revit and NavisWorks.
