Responsibilities For Staff Analytics Engineer, Thermal & Chassis
- Analyze vehicle data and extract useful statistics/insights for product improvements
- Write efficient SQL/Python code and complex queries across extensive data set
- Build effective models for hardware optimization, controls, and vehicle diagnostics
- Work with engineers on end-to-end analyses
- Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets
- Automate analyses and author pipelines using SQL, Python, and Airflow based ETL framework
Requirements For Staff Analytics Engineer, Thermal & Chassis
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or related field
- Prior internship/work experience in data analytics
- Proven proficiency in SQL and Python
- Working knowledge of data visualization techniques (Matplotlib, Seaborn)
- Experience working with time-series sensors data
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects
