Responsibilities For Staff Mechatronics Test Engineer, High Voltage Battery

  • Perform component and pack-level validation and reliability testing
  • Design, build, instrument, and automate equipment for battery system testing
  • Lead testing efforts for complex, high voltage battery programs
  • Mentor junior Engineers and guide teams
  • Investigate test and field failures
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify failure modes
  • Identify and execute experiments targeting new technologies
  • Analyze and document test results

Requirements For Staff Mechatronics Test Engineer, High Voltage Battery

Python
  • Engineering Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Strong understanding of digital electronics, data acquisition, mechanics, materials science
  • Experience designing automation systems and mechatronic systems
  • Experience with analog circuits and electrical test equipment
  • Experience with object-oriented coding (Python, C++)
  • Experience creating and executing design validation plans
  • Experience leading technical projects
  • Familiarity with high voltage systems
