Responsibilities For Staff Product Engineer, Factory Software
- Understand and implement Tesla software products that support the manufacturing process
- Define, implement, and drive project requirements, workflows and plans
- Gather requirements from diverse stakeholders and assign priorities
- Design and track implementation of technical requests
- Document project milestones and resources allocation
- Deploy integration optimizations focusing on decreased cost and down time
- Root cause analyze with cross functional teams
- Define Factory Software responsibilities and best practices
- Manage cross-product priorities and resource capacity
- Design and present new processes to improve development workflow
Requirements For Staff Product Engineer, Factory Software
- 5+ years of experience in Product or Program management
- Ability to understand complex automated systems
- Ability to query through cross-product systems logs
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with manufacturing operating systems
- Proficiency in drafting diagram flows
- CMMS background preferred
- Strong knowledge of MES, JIRA, SQL and API/Kafka based system integrations
