Responsibilities For Staff Reliability Engineer, Energy Products
- Set and communicate reliability requirements and targets
- Create Fault Trees and reliability block diagrams
- Analyze usage and environmental conditions
- Apply statistical analysis to test and field data
- Work with Design and Reliability Data Engineers
- Specify reliability validation plans
- Drive reliability assessments in product design reviews
- Facilitate failure analysis
- Influence supplier selection for higher reliability
- Provide reliability design guidelines
Requirements For Staff Reliability Engineer, Energy Products
- Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- One or more years of industry experience in a reliability engineering role
- Understanding of accelerated testing methods and physics of failure
- Understanding of applied statistics and reliability statistics
- Working knowledge of failure analysis techniques
- Knowledge of ReliaSoft Synthesis Platform
- Knowledge of methods to design-in reliability
- Working knowledge of programming languages, preferably Python
- Experience working with complex electronic and mechanical systems
