Responsibilities For Staff Silicon & Package Reliability Engineer
- Develop and execute reliability tests for silicon and package products
- Analyze failure data and identify root causes
- Develop and maintain reliability models and simulations
- Collaborate with design teams for Design for Reliability (DfR)
- Qualify manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with suppliers on reliability requirements
- Analyze and report reliability data for product decisions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements For Staff Silicon & Package Reliability Engineer
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in silicon and package reliability engineering
- Knowledge of industry standards such as JEDEC, AEC, and IEC
- Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and device operation
- Experience with reliability test development and execution
- Familiarity with failure analysis techniques (FA, TEM, SEM)
- Proficiency in reliability modeling and simulation tools (SPICE, Monte Carlo)
- First principles understanding of real product needs beyond the standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
