Responsibilities For Staff Silicon & Package Reliability Engineer

  • Develop and execute reliability tests for silicon and package products
  • Analyze failure data and identify root causes
  • Develop and maintain reliability models and simulations
  • Collaborate with design teams for Design for Reliability (DfR)
  • Qualify manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with suppliers on reliability requirements
  • Analyze and report reliability data for product decisions
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements For Staff Silicon & Package Reliability Engineer

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in silicon and package reliability engineering
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as JEDEC, AEC, and IEC
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and device operation
  • Experience with reliability test development and execution
  • Familiarity with failure analysis techniques (FA, TEM, SEM)
  • Proficiency in reliability modeling and simulation tools (SPICE, Monte Carlo)
  • First principles understanding of real product needs beyond the standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
