Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Vehicle & Tesla Bot Design

Tesla's Design Technology Operations team is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join their mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. This role is crucial in building and maintaining the systems that power Tesla's design infrastructure across vehicle and Tesla Bot initiatives. As an SRE, you'll work with a diverse tech stack including Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python, managing critical infrastructure across three continents. You'll be responsible for building release processes, managing Kubernetes infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability through monitoring and incident response. The role combines aspects of performance engineering, test engineering, release engineering, systems engineering, and security engineering. You'll be part of a team of technical generalists who handle everything from microservices to large-scale monolithic applications.
