Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Vehicle & Tesla Bot Design

Tesla is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join their Design Technology Operations team, playing a crucial role in powering Tesla's design infrastructure for vehicles and Tesla Bot. This position offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable energy and advanced robotics, managing mission-critical systems that directly impact Tesla's innovative products.

The role demands a technical generalist who can navigate multiple domains including performance engineering, test engineering, release engineering, systems engineering, and security engineering. You'll be working with a diverse technology stack, developing automation in Go while managing applications in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and .NET.

As a Staff SRE, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining release processes for applications ranging from small microservices to large-scale monoliths. You'll manage Kubernetes infrastructure across three continents and ensure optimal site performance using modern monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Catchpoint, and Splunk.
