Responsibilities For Staff Software QA Engineer, Test Infrastructure

  • Design and draft electrical schematics for hardware in the loop test infrastructure
  • Drive the technology roadmap for continuous improvements of test infrastructure
  • Functional verification of HIL data acquisition I/O, communications, and peripherals
  • Investigate and troubleshoot incorrect hardware or software behaviors
  • Installation and setup of various team toolchains
  • Use, maintenance, and further development of software stack and automation tools
  • Work collaboratively with cross-organizational teams
  • Manage time to complete parallel assignments

Requirements For Staff Software QA Engineer, Test Infrastructure

Python
  • Degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years in a software test infrastructure or adjacent role
  • Expertise in data acquisition, AC/DC circuits, signal conditioning, power distribution, and mixed-signal types
  • Proficiency in Python, software development workflow and test
  • Ability to read, interpret, and draft wiring diagrams, electrical and PCBA schematics
  • Proven experience troubleshooting complex electronic hardware systems
