Staff Supercharger Product Engineer, NAM Market Leader

Tesla is seeking a Staff Supercharger Product Engineer to lead the North American growth of the Supercharger Network. This role is part of the Supercharger Service Engineering team, focusing on maintaining and improving the industry-leading uptime of the global Supercharger network while supporting unprecedented scaling. The successful candidate will apply solid first principles and leverage data analytics collected from connected systems worldwide to proactively find and solve issues with the Supercharger fleet.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving cross-functional efforts to implement fleet improvements
• Leading, mentoring, and growing engineers into global product engineering experts
• Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive product improvements
• Creating documentation and training for field service and technical support teams
• Utilizing remote data analysis and fleet analytics to solve problems
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues of the global Supercharger network

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in product engineering, reliability engineering, or related fields
• Working knowledge of SQL, Spark, and Python
• Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Experience with charging standards and team leadership (preferred)
