Tesla's Supercharger Service Engineering team is seeking a Staff Supercharger Product Engineer to lead North American network growth. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, focusing on maintaining and improving the world's largest electric vehicle charging network. Responsibilities For Staff Supercharger Product Engineer, NAM Market Leader
- Drive cross-functional efforts and initiatives to implement fleet improvements
- Lead, mentor, and grow engineers into global product engineering experts
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive design and manufacturing product improvements
- Create documentation and training for field commissioning and service operations
- Utilize remote data analysis and fleet analytics to solve problems
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and firmware issues of the global Supercharger network
Requirements For Staff Supercharger Product Engineer, NAM Market Leader
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with product engineering, reliability engineering, failure analysis
- Working knowledge of SQL, Spark and Python
- Strong engineering fundamentals and intuition in firmware/software/hardware
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous tasks
- Exceptional communication skills, including to leadership levels
