Tesla's Supercharger Service Engineering team is seeking a Staff Supercharger Product Engineer to lead North American network growth. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, focusing on maintaining and improving the world's largest electric vehicle charging network. Responsibilities For Staff Supercharger Product Engineer, NAM Market Leader

  • Drive cross-functional efforts and initiatives to implement fleet improvements
  • Lead, mentor, and grow engineers into global product engineering experts
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive design and manufacturing product improvements
  • Create documentation and training for field commissioning and service operations
  • Utilize remote data analysis and fleet analytics to solve problems
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and firmware issues of the global Supercharger network

Requirements For Staff Supercharger Product Engineer, NAM Market Leader

Python
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with product engineering, reliability engineering, failure analysis
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Spark and Python
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and intuition in firmware/software/hardware
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
  • Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous tasks
  • Exceptional communication skills, including to leadership levels
