Responsibilities For Staff System Test Engineer, Dojo
- Own and develop detailed life cycle validation plans for electronic and computer systems for Tesla's Dojo product line
- Work with various teams to identify failure modes and generate design validation and reliability test plans
- Perform component-level and system-level validation and reliability tests
- Lead computer system/electronics component and system level failures analysis
- Execute experiments targeting new technologies or critical failures
- Interface and simulate complex systems to validate firmware and hardware
- Lead a team of junior engineers and technicians
Requirements For Staff System Test Engineer, Dojo
- Degree in Computer, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4 – 7 years experience with complex electronics systems
- Working knowledge of Analog, Digital signal measurement, power electronics, DCDC/DCAC systems
- Experience in electrical design and analysis using tools like Altium, Cadence, Ansys AEDT
- Experience with Linux systems and scripting with Python, Bash
- Experience in creating and executing detailed validation plans
- Ability to manage competing priorities and complex timelines
