Responsibilities For Staff Systems Integration & Software Engineer, Cell Manufacturing
- Outline controller requirements based on system performance specifications
- Evaluate new manufacturing processes for controllability and fit to system needs
- Work cross organizationally to make design decisions on controller architecture
- Translate algorithms into software implementation
- Own firmware through life cycle from prototype to high-volume production
- Test, validate, and troubleshoot controller implementation
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Prototype embedded software to evaluate concepts
- Develop scripts to analyze fleet performance
- Solve hard, undefined problems with limited direction
Requirements For Staff Systems Integration & Software Engineer, Cell Manufacturing
- Experience leading a technical effort from concept to production
- Experience developing real-time safety-critical software (C/C++)
- Mentorship experience working with junior developers
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience validating complex systems
- Exceptional understanding of electrical engineering concepts
- Understanding of safety critical development frameworks
- Understanding of communication technologies
