Responsibilities For Supervisor, Cell Engineering

  • Provide effective supervision, training and coaching to team members
  • Ensure standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current and accurate
  • Monitor employee compliance with safety regulations
  • Work with employees to resolve process and machine problems
  • Provide quality communication link between team members
  • Oversee lab operation and quality control of manufacturing processes

Requirements For Supervisor, Cell Engineering

  • Four years or more of industrial operation and R&D lab supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dry room and cell manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with cell manufacturing processes, metrology and quality control
  • Strong preventive equipment maintenance experience
  • Experience supporting process development
  • Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-Sigma principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with handling hazardous chemicals and waste
