Responsibilities For Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Dojo Power Distribution

  • Plan, organize, direct, and conduct industrialization related activities within the supply chain team
  • Develop and manage supplier manufacturing and assembly techniques
  • Provide leadership for New Product Introduction (NPI) at suppliers
  • Lead supplier improvements in scalability, cost, and quality
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and Tesla teams
  • Conduct supplier audits
  • Lead and track supplier manufacturing process development
  • Guide suppliers in developing robust processes
  • Validate supplier corrective actions
  • Provide input on new materials
  • Manage RFQ's and contract management

Requirements For Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Dojo Power Distribution

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of PPAP/APQP Quality Systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Demonstrable leadership abilities
  • Experience managing safety critical parts, wiring harnesses, and power distribution commodities
  • Ability to communicate and direct supplier activities at management level
