Responsibilities For Systems Integration Engineer, Body Controls

  • Distill vehicle product requirements into actionable software requirements
  • Lead software architecture design of body controls products and features
  • Define system hardware and software interfaces
  • Bring-up and debug early software and hardware prototypes
  • Support validation teams in developing test plans
  • Perform field data analytics to improve design and performance
  • Analyze changes to assess impact to systems
  • Perform DFMEA and HARA for body controls systems
  • Serve as a system leader for cross-functional teams
  • Help teams understand system impacts across vehicle systems

Requirements For Systems Integration Engineer, Body Controls

Python
  • Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong C/C++ comprehension
  • Python or scripting language knowledge
  • Electrical Engineering fundamentals
  • Experience in hands-on debugging complex subsystems
  • Experience with CAN tools such as Vector CANape and PCAN explorer
  • Experience with LIN communications
  • Experience in DFMEA, HARAs, and fault trees
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
