Description For Systems Integration Engineer, Low Voltage Power

Tesla is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for Low Voltage Power to join their Vehicle Software organization. This role combines hardware and software expertise to lead the development of critical power distribution systems in Tesla vehicles. You'll work directly with cross-functional teams to architect and implement low voltage power systems, manage power distribution, and ensure optimal battery management. Responsibilities For Systems Integration Engineer, Low Voltage Power

  • Architect vehicle low voltage power systems including power distribution, power management, and network management
  • Distill vehicle product requirements into actionable software and hardware requirements
  • Lead system behavior design of low voltage power distribution products and features
  • Bring-up and debug early software and hardware prototypes
  • Understand and debug hardware and software interactions
  • Perform field data analytics to improve behaviors and performance
  • Perform FMEA and HARA for low voltage power systems
  • Serve as a system leader for electrical, software, manufacturing, and service teams

Requirements For Systems Integration Engineer, Low Voltage Power

Linux
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Strong C/C++ comprehension
  • Comfortable with Electrical Engineering fundamentals
  • Strong hardware schematic and layout comprehension
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Excellent at hands-on debugging complex subsystems
  • Comfortable analyzing data to improve design and performance
  • Understanding of hardware and software development processes
  • Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities and challenges
