  • Partner with engineering teams to create and update diagnostic information and procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to gather technical information
  • Validate information for accuracy and manage document approval process
  • Edit content according to style guide and enforce organization standards
  • Improve editorial and visual standards for documentation
  • Manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software

Requirements For Technical Editor, Service Engineering

Python
  • Degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, Technical/Professional Writing, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent
  • 1-3 years working experience in related field
  • Ability to edit and create accurate, complete, and clear documentation
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with HTML, XML, DITA, Markdown, Git, SQL, and/or Python is a plus
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
