Responsibilities For Test Engineer, Cell Degradation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize lithium-ion battery performance
  • Develop/debug electrochemical tests methods to analyze battery materials
  • Work with data engineers to create smooth data pipeline
  • Coordinate workflow of cell dissections and electrochemical tests
  • Align with global lab locations on test protocol compatibility
  • Support test equipment setup and maintenance
  • Perform periodic test data quality control

Requirements For Test Engineer, Cell Degradation

Python
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials, or related field
  • Understanding of lithium-ion cell chemistry and degradation mechanism
  • Knowledge of electrical test equipment used in battery cell testing
  • Familiar with chemical analysis techniques for battery materials
  • Ability to learn new concepts and methods
  • Some coding experience preferred (MATLAB, Python, or similar data analysis tools)
