Tesla is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Lead for their Energy UI team to drive the worldwide transition to sustainable energy. This role involves leading the engineering of Web-based user experiences for Megapack, Powerwall, Supercharger, and Autobidder products. The position requires expertise in TypeScript and React, with a focus on building highly performant applications powered by distributed systems.
The ideal candidate will lead a world-class team of Software Engineers, defining engineering principles and fostering a strong engineering culture. They will work closely with users including Energy Market traders, power plant operators, installers, and Supercharger fleet operators. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and UX teams, focusing on extensible design systems and open-source quality solutions.
