Tesla is seeking a Vehicle Program Manager to join their Vehicle Engineering team in Fremont, California. Responsibilities For Vehicle Program Manager, Vehicle Engineering

  • Develop, negotiate and approve vehicle program schedules based on company requirements
  • Develop, negotiate and release vehicle product specifications with change control
  • Develop and manage program business cases and budgets
  • Translate company priorities into actionable workstreams
  • Establish cross functional alignment between teams
  • Inform executives on critical program direction and decisions
  • Analyse program risk and implement mitigations
  • Communicate program direction, specification and schedule across the company

Requirements For Vehicle Program Manager, Vehicle Engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years program/project management experience
  • Experience in fast paced environment with end-to-end product deployment
  • Ability to work with limited resources and tight deadlines
  • Experience using program management tools and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in product development or manufacturing engineering is advantageous
