Responsibilities For Vibration Test & Analysis Engineer, Semi

  • Process public roads and proving ground durability data
  • Develop accelerated random vibration profiles for MAST/ED shakers
  • Conduct vibration testing on vehicle sub-systems
  • Develop and improve vibration durability methodologies
  • Design test fixtures in CATIA
  • Conduct part inspections and root cause analysis
  • Post process test data and create test reports
  • Maintain test equipment and lab expansions
  • Collaborate with technicians, instrumentation and design teams

Requirements For Vibration Test & Analysis Engineer, Semi

Python
Linux
  • Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong mechanical engineering, vibration, and durability fundamentals
  • 1+ years of experience with automotive systems or competitive projects
  • Experience with data processing using nCode Glyphworks, MATLAB, Python
  • Experience with instrumentation and sensors
  • Experience with modal testing
  • Experience with 3D CAD software for fixture design
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
