Description For Data Engineer

Teva, a global pharmaceutical company with over 30,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer experienced mainly in Databricks and other Azure tools like Data Lake. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions for data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with strong proficiency in data modeling and SQL. Experience in developing Modern Data Warehouse solutions using Azure Stack, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks, is essential. Expertise in designing and deploying data applications on cloud solutions like Azure or AWS is required, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Python.

Your responsibilities will include designing and developing BI solutions using Databricks and Azure services, building ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory for data integration, and creating efficient data models in Databricks Delta Lake. You'll also be tasked with developing advanced analytics and dashboards for insights presentation, optimizing performance, ensuring system reliability, and documenting technical designs.
