We are looking for a talented Sr. Software Developer in Test to join our innovative team at Taller. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through advanced testing strategies and robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web and mobile testing, with a particular emphasis on automation. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to define test requirements, enhance our testing capabilities, and contribute to the overall success of our software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with product and engineering teams to understand and clarify test requirements
• Developing comprehensive automation testing strategies for mobile, web, and API releases
• Providing innovative technical solutions to improve existing automated testing frameworks
• Designing and writing robust tests that promote stability and maintainability
• Identifying and resolving issues with automated tests
• Developing detailed test plans to support release cycles
• Automating common QA tasks to improve release testing efficiency
• Championing quality engineering best practices across the organization

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in web and mobile testing with a focus on automation
• At least 3 years of experience in integration testing and UI automation
• Extensive experience testing web services and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in automation tools like Playwright, Maestro, Selenium
• Experience supporting high-volume traffic web applications
• Familiarity with Git and source control systems
• Proficient in API testing tools like Postman
• Strong understanding of SQL and RDBMS
• Excellent communication skills and professional working proficiency in English
• Experience with Java and React applications is highly desirable
• Familiarity with observability tools, cloud infrastructure, and distributed services
