Our client, a leading technology services company, is looking to hire an Onsite IT Engineer for Trade Floor Support. As an Engineer in IT Managed Services, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the technology environment at client sites, keeping clients informed about their environments, and updating your Team Manager on your status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to users in a friendly manner
- Follow procedures and instructions from your manager
- Keep Manager and Helpdesk aware of task status, escalating when necessary
- Promptly update job status in ticketing and activity tracking systems
- Remain contactable via phone during out of office hours
- Perform upgrade/maintenance/support jobs during non-office hours
- Conduct daily morning checks on meeting room facilities
- Manage meeting room facilities readiness and troubleshoot issues
- Handle equipment deliveries and rack mount IT equipment occasionally
Requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English (mandatory)
- Fluency in spoken Mandarin
- Knowledge of Microsoft desktop / Office 365 / Azure platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Industry certifications (MCITP/MCSE) are an advantage
- 3+ years in a technology support role
- Trade floor or financial services IT experience is an advantage
- Diploma or above in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent
