Responsibilities For Principal Graphics Engineer

  • Lead development, optimization, and troubleshooting of rendering features within Unreal Engine 5
  • Work with art and design department to ensure features meet artistic needs
  • Set standards and best practices for content teams

Requirements For Principal Graphics Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 6+ years technical engineering experience with C/C++
  • 1+ shipped AAA game as Principal or Lead Rendering Engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
  • 6+ years of experience with real-time rendering, GPU and CPU profiling
  • Understanding of 3D mathematics, rendering algorithms, and shader development
  • Experience with modern 3D graphics APIs (DirectX, Vulkan)
  • Experience with console development
  • Experience with multi-platform development
