The Tsui Group is seeking experienced Office Engineers to join their aviation team in Los Angeles County. As an Office Engineer, you'll be integral to project success by managing documentation, coordinating with various stakeholders, and supporting the Construction Management team.

Responsibilities For Office Engineer I and II

  • Perform construction contract correspondence and document control
  • Update and maintain drawings, specifications and logs
  • Process RFIs and Design Notices
  • Maintain project files and document management systems
  • Assist in Request for Information (RFI) process
  • Support Construction Manager with submittal and plan revision process
  • Write Change/Field Directives and prepare exhibits
  • Maintain logs in Prolog system
  • Document project meetings and prepare progress reports
  • Process monthly Pay Applications
  • Track construction quantities and issues resolution
  • Participate in phasing meetings and prepare work plans

Requirements For Office Engineer I and II

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience, preferably on airport projects
  • State of California Professional Engineer's license (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Prolog and Project Management Systems
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam or other PDF programs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with outside agencies
  • Civil flat work experience - airports and road construction
