As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate security practices into the development operations lifecycle, and play a critical role in automating and securing the software development process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Automating repeatable tasks to improve the software development lifecycle
  • Using cloud services for pipeline deployment
  • Integrating with version control tools
  • Troubleshooting and resolving build issues
  • Implementing security testing frameworks and best practices
  • Educating teams on security awareness and threat mitigation
  • Implementing monitoring tools for security threat detection
  • Continuously scanning for vulnerabilities in code and third-party libraries
  • Integrating automated testing frameworks
  • Tracking metrics for pipeline reliability and performance
  • Researching and designing solutions to improve the CI/CD process
  • Promoting an inclusive environment that supports continuous learning and teamwork
  • Supporting Agile methodologies

This role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline, along with 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD tools, cloud platforms, version control systems, and security testing and automation.

Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer

  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a 'Secret' clearance level
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
  • Experience in building and deployment
  • Experience in security testing and automation
  • Experience in threat modeling & detection, and vulnerability scanning
  • Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI)
  • Experience using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with shell scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell and Bash)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience deploying and maintaining containerized software using tools such as Docker
