Description For Cloud Engineer

Theodo is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join aleios, their exciting new Serverless consultancy startup within the Theodo group. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll develop innovative web and mobile apps for industry leaders and new disrupters using cutting-edge Cloud technology. You'll work on client projects, building massively scalable, resilient, low-cost, and high-quality systems using serverless solutions on AWS.

The role offers significant growth opportunities, with a clear progression path towards becoming a Tech Leader and potentially a future CTO. You'll receive weekly coaching sessions, mentorship, and the chance to mentor junior team members. Theodo invests heavily in professional development, providing opportunities to become an expert in your field.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on coding within a team, alongside other developers and architects
  • Building state-of-the-art Serverless solutions
  • Contributing to client projects and progressing skills in Cloud Architecture
  • Helping startups build initial MVPs and assisting larger organizations in scaling globally

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in Node, TypeScript (preferably additional languages)
  • Desire to learn modern Cloud Native architecture
  • 1:1 or 2:1 Bachelor's Degree

Additional desirable skills include experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, AWS Certification, and involvement in the tech community.
