Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer on their Data Engineering team, you'll join a collaborative group of professionals working on data-driven solutions that enhance profitability, growth, and user experience. You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining data pipelines, APIs, and services that power theScore's data fulfillment platform. Working alongside ML, Analytics, and Reporting teams, you'll build streaming data pipelines, integrate with third-party APIs, and contribute to the platform's continuous improvement. The position requires strong technical skills in Python, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in data or software engineering, with expertise in building distributed systems for large datasets. You should be proficient in Python and at least one compiled language, comfortable with Kubernetes, and experienced with messaging systems like Kafka. Knowledge of cloud platforms and data warehouses is essential.
