As a Senior iOS Developer on the Mobile Platform team, you will be working with a team of smart, friendly, and dedicated Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver some of the best apps in the market. The Mobile Platform team provides the foundation for mobile clients and enables mobile teams to build and deliver features faster and with high quality. This team is responsible for the overall developer experience on both iOS and Android, striving to leverage the latest capabilities of each platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, architecting, and shipping applications
- Collaborating with iOS developers to improve the development experience
- Improving code through refactoring and applying modern design patterns
- Creating efficiencies by building custom and innovative mobile tooling
- Maintaining and enhancing the mobile CI/CD pipeline and tooling
- Solving difficult problems related to large data sets and responsive UIs
- Automating testing and continuous integration
- Keeping up to date with the latest advances in iOS development
The ideal candidate should have:
- 3+ years of experience working with Swift and UIKit
- Experience building applications with SwiftUI
- 5+ years of experience in commercial iOS development
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, software development principles, and design patterns
- Experience with unit testing, API integration, Git, Cocoapods, and Swift Package Manager
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools, production monitoring tools, and profiling/debugging tools

- Work with the product team to design, architect, and ship applications
- Collaborate with iOS developers to improve the development experience

- Work with other engineers through technical collaboration, discussion, and code review
- Create efficiencies by building custom and innovative mobile tooling
- Maintain and enhance the mobile CI/CD pipeline and tooling
- Solve difficult problems related to large data sets and responsive UIs
- Help QA team to automate testing and continuous integration
- Keep up to date with the latest advances in iOS development
- Push technology and processes forward through research, implementing proof-of-concepts, and sharing knowledge
Requirements For Senior iOS Developer, Mobile Platform
- 3+ years of experience working with Swift, UIKit
- Experience building applications with SwiftUI
- 5+ years of experience in commercial iOS development
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience integrating APIs and back-end services with mobile applications
- Experience working with Git
- Experience working with Cocoapods and/or Swift Package Manager
- Experience working with large native code bases with significant complexity
- Experience with mobile CI/CD tools and automation (eg. GitHub actions, Fastlane)
- Experience with production monitoring tools (eg. Crashlytics, Datadog)
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented design, software development principles, and design patterns
- Solid knowledge of concurrency best practices and pitfalls
- Highly proficient with profiling/debugging tools
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or equivalent experience
