Senior QA Engineer

theScore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PENN Entertainment, empowers millions of sports fans through its digital media and sports betting products. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll be part of the Quality Engineering team responsible for delivering quality software solutions to millions of sports fans on various platforms. You'll advocate for quality throughout the SDLC, ensure processes and best practices are followed, and work with stakeholders who value your input.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the platform and key user actions
• Providing cross-platform testing of sports media and betting apps
• Developing and reviewing test cases in TestRail
• Performing various types of tests on different environments
• Participating in bug triaging and Scrum ceremonies
• Working with the Test Automation team to prioritize and analyze automation results

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience mentoring other QA Engineers
• Coding or scripting skills
• Strong familiarity with functional and regression testing on native Android and iOS platforms
• Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA), REST API calls, GraphQL, and Web/HTTP Proxy tools
• Knowledge of environment monitoring tools and mobile log gathering
• Experience testing event-driven architectures and documenting test strategies
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
