Description For Software Developer, DevEx Enablement (Coop) - W2025

Its media app 'theScore' is one of the most popular in North America, delivering fans highly personalized live scores, news, stats, and betting information from their favorite teams, leagues, and players. theScore's sports betting app 'theScore Bet Sportsbook & Casino' delivers an immersive and holistic mobile sports betting and iCasino experience.

As part of the DevEx: Enablement team, you will be passionate about team empowerment and optimizing productivity. In this role, you will support spearheading initiatives to streamline onboarding processes, enhance knowledge sharing, minimize context switching, and optimize feedback loops throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Your primary focus will be empowering our teams to work more efficiently and effectively, ultimately leading to higher satisfaction and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use our internal developer portal to ensure standards are met across the engineering organization
  • Work closely with engineering teams to take the best of what they know and make it global within the engineering org
  • Design and implement solutions to improve time-to-onboard for new developers, reduce time to find information, minimize context switching, and shorten feedback loops in the SDLC process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand workflows and challenges, and provide guidance on implementing productivity-enhancing practices and tools
  • Support implementation of metrics to measure team productivity, satisfaction, and flow state
  • Support training sessions and workshops on best practices, tools, and techniques for maximizing productivity
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to team productivity

Requirements:

  • Software engineering experience, with a focus on optimizing team productivity and collaboration
  • Experience using Elixir, TypeScript, or Java
  • Experience with build tooling and automated testing
  • Experience with IaaS/IaaC tools
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for continuous learning and personal development
