Responsibilities For Manufacturing Engineer

  • Ensure products meet requirement specifications
  • Assist product and process improvement efforts
  • Generate CAD files, BOM and other documentation
  • Write/run programs, scripts, data acquisition tools
  • Support construction of functional prototypes, jigs, breadboards, and fixtures
  • Research improvements in materials, techniques, and methods
  • Assist development of new test infrastructure
  • Employ design for test & design for manufacturing methods
  • Validate designs, perform acceptance tests, and release updates to production
  • Support production of OEM and customer specific applications

Requirements For Manufacturing Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, SolidWorks 3D design, and PLM software
  • Experience with GD&T, DFM and DFT
  • Knowledge of quality management systems
  • Ability to design custom fixtures, tooling, process development and documentation
  • Experience using standard measurement equipment
  • Familiarity with Six sigma, lean manufacturing
