Responsibilities For Quality Engineer
- Drive quality and teach quality techniques
- Review, maintain, and prepare Quality trend analysis data and QA reports
- Perform Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action
- Establish and maintain inspection and acceptance criteria
- Implement continual improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, lean methods)
- Train and collaborate with production personnel
- Conduct audits and create reports of findings
- Create and maintain quality documentation
- Review RFQ's and Purchase Orders for Quality requirements
- Collaborate with RMA and Service departments
Requirements For Quality Engineer
- BS from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft products and Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with Quality in a Manufacturing Environment
- Experience with quality improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, FMEA)
- Strong ability to work well in a group atmosphere
- Experience using standard measurement equipment
- Strong attention to detail
