The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in security tools and frameworks.

The position involves working closely with IT Infrastructure and Security Operations teams to ensure robust security measures are in place. Key responsibilities include vulnerability management, security system monitoring, and supporting compliance activities. The role requires expertise in both Linux and Windows environments, along with knowledge of cloud platforms and scripting languages.

Responsibilities For Security Engineer

  • Implement, maintain, and support security solutions and controls across various security domains
  • Deploy and maintain security solutions for IT infrastructure and applications
  • Support automated security measures development to identify and address vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Security Operations teams
  • Support vulnerability management processes
  • Monitor and analyze security systems
  • Contribute to security processes integration
  • Provide support for security assessments
  • Work with GRC team for compliance activities
  • Partner with SOC teams for detection and response

Requirements For Security Engineer

Linux
Python
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity roles
  • Experience with SIEM, Network Security Tools, EDR, or Cloud security tools
  • Experience with Application Security Tools
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or Python
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Must be a U.S. Person - Ability to work on ITAR related projects
