Description For Infrastructure Support Engineer

Responsibilities For Infrastructure Support Engineer

  • Monitor and maintain operations of shipped products and services following 'Eyes on glass/Follow the sun' engagement models
  • Monitor product/service operations against key performance indicators
  • Document responses to incident scenarios and prepare runbooks
  • Automate day-to-day operations, configure and tweak alerts and monitoring
  • Respond to and escalate production incidents as necessary
  • Assist development teams in incident resolution
  • Conduct incident root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare postmortem reports
  • Implement service/product reliability improvements through infrastructure/observability configuration code

Requirements For Infrastructure Support Engineer

Kubernetes
Linux
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitlabCI, CircleCI)
  • Knowledge of log aggregation systems (EFK, Splunk, Datadog)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Good understanding of Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with container ecosystem technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)
  • Basic understanding of API concepts
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Basic understanding of traffic load management
  • Experience with Linux system administration
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotation-based team
