You'll work with various feature teams and outsourced QA automation engineers to ensure high-quality development and timely product releases with solid test automation coverage.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with product and engineering teams to ensure features are developed with automation testability in mind.
- Evaluating and improving existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Implementing proven automation tools and techniques.
- Leading and training quality engineering vendor team members.
- Creating automated dashboards to elevate release quality.
- Owning and improving CI pipelines on iOS.
- Maintaining and updating the build stack (e.g., Xcode, Bazel).
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience building large-scale mobile applications for consumer-facing apps, a strong background in automation frameworks for mobile app testing, and solid knowledge of various testing types. Experience with XCUITest is highly desired.

Responsibilities For Sr. Build and Automation Engineer
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure features are developed using automation testability
- Evaluate existing automation frameworks and test scripts, and drive necessary changes
- Recommend, augment, and implement usage of proven automation tools, technologies and techniques
- Lead and train quality engineering vendor team members on best practices and building automation frameworks
- Create an automated dashboard to elevate the quality of releases
- Lead evaluation of various vendor tooling with scalable POC's
- Own, manage, and improve CI pipelines on iOS
- Maintain build stack and keep it up to date with latest versions (e.g., Xcode, Bazel)
- Improve the reliability and performance of test and build processes
Requirements For Sr. Build and Automation Engineer
- Minimum 4+ years of experience building large scale mobile applications for direct consumer-facing apps on iOS
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with automation frameworks testing Mobile Apps
- Solid knowledge of automation implementation including functional, performance, regression, analytics, accessibility
- Experience working with external testing solutions such as BrowserStack, Marathon lab or AWS
- Passion for continuous learning and ability to effectively communicate technology-oriented concepts
