Staff Product Manager, Machine Learning and Recommendations

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution for Tinder's recommendations ML/AI team. This critical role involves driving the enhancement of our recommendation systems, leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms, cutting-edge AI technologies, and sophisticated user behavior modeling to deliver highly personalized experiences for our members. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in machine learning and AI, extensive experience in product management, and a track record of using data-driven insights to drive impactful product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed specifications for large-scale ML/AI features
• Decompose complex ML/AI visions into clear, strategic steps
• Oversee quality across multiple ML/AI initiatives
• Lead the development of industry-standard solutions
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and senior leadership
• Mentor junior Product Managers
• Utilize data insights to drive product direction

Requirements:

• Proven ability to create detailed specifications for large-scale ML/AI features
• Experience in deconstructing complex ML/AI visions into actionable steps
• Demonstrated capability in providing strategic insights
• Proficiency in communicating project requirements and securing stakeholder buy-in
• Experience mentoring junior product managers
