Tinybird, a dynamic SaaS company, is revolutionizing how developers and data teams work with real-time data. We're seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our Integrations team, where you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our core platform integrations with various partner technologies like BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Kafka, DynamoDB, MongoDB, S3, and GSC.
The position offers a competitive salary range of €62,000 - €109,000, along with stock options and comprehensive benefits including health coverage and a generous home office setup allowance. As a fully remote company with offices in Madrid and New York City, we embrace a flexible work culture while maintaining strong team connections.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing complex data integrations, creating documentation, and participating in product discussions that shape our platform's future. We use Python and C++ but are open to other technologies. You'll work on various projects, from building new Connector MVPs to troubleshooting customer issues and enhancing existing features.
The ideal candidate should have strong backend engineering experience, excellent communication skills for async work, and the ability to work autonomously. Knowledge of ClickHouse and experience with data platforms is a plus. We're looking for someone who can thrive in our fast-paced environment, make impactful technical decisions, and contribute to our mission of making Tinybird the go-to tool for building real-time data applications.
You'll be part of a transparent, collaborative environment where everyone contributes to the product team. Our unique approach to design and development, including our "Minimum Shitty Prototype" methodology, ensures rapid iteration and practical solution validation. If you're passionate about data engineering, enjoy solving complex integration challenges, and want to make a significant impact in a growing company, this role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the future of real-time data processing.
