They are seeking a Graduate Engineer for their Highway team to work on innovative transportation infrastructure systems. The role offers a hybrid work environment, initially requiring 4 days in-office, transitioning to a 3/2 model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

The position involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team on complex transportation projects, focusing on highway design, geometric layouts, and infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in highway design, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Responsibilities For Graduate Engineer, Transportation - Highway Design

  • Assist in the design of highway design, geometric layouts, roundabouts, alignments, profiles, cross sections and other related infrastructure projects
  • Contribute to the production of preliminary and final plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Utilize related software to support design and project needs (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite)

Requirements For Graduate Engineer, Transportation - Highway Design

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • 2 - 5 years of experience supporting highway design and/or related transportation design projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Active EIT certification or interest in attaining EIT within 6 months of employment (preferred)
  • Master's degree in civil engineering (preferred)
  • Previous experience or formal training with MicroStation, Openroads Designer (preferred)
  • Previous experience developing construction plans and specifications (preferred)
