Description For Professional Engineer, Bridge

TKDA is seeking a Professional Engineer specializing in Civil/Structural Bridge design with 5-10 years of experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse bridge projects, from conventional grade separations to complex highway interchanges and river crossings. As part of TKDA's Bridge Group, you'll be at the forefront of designing various bridge types using pre-stressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and steel plate girder construction.

The position offers a flexible work arrangement with 3 days in office and 2 days working from home. By April 2025, the company will be relocating to a new headquarters in the South Loop neighborhood of Bloomington from their current location in downtown Saint Paul.

As a 100% employee-owned firm with over 430 professionals, TKDA provides a collaborative environment where success and rewards are shared collectively. The company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance from day one, 401(k) matching, HSA contributions, and participation in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan funded by company profits.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Professional Engineer registration, and strong technical design experience. You'll have the opportunity to mentor team members, contribute to innovative solutions, and work on both traditional design-bid-build and design-build projects across the country. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $89,075 to $114,135 based on experience and qualifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to advance their career in a supportive, employee-owned environment while working on challenging and diverse bridge projects.
