Description For Blockchain Engineer

Token Metrics is at the forefront of crypto investment technology, helping investors across 50+ countries build profitable portfolios through AI-powered crypto indices, rankings, and price predictions. We're seeking a talented Smart Contract Engineer to join our Engineering team in a remote capacity. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building Token Metrics' privacy and scalability infrastructure within the Ethereum ecosystem.

The position offers exciting challenges including the development of cross-chain bridges for asset movement and implementing Solidity smart contracts for private and auditable transaction systems. You'll work closely with fellow engineers and product managers, contributing to critical infrastructure that enhances our platform's capabilities.

As our ideal candidate, you bring strong expertise in Solidity development and a deep understanding of blockchain technology, particularly in the Ethereum ecosystem. Your experience with dapps/web3 and smart contract security will be crucial as you design, implement, and deploy EVM smart contracts. You'll also collaborate with external auditors to ensure the security and safety of our smart contract implementations.

Responsibilities For Blockchain Engineer

  • Design, implement, test, and deploy EVM smart contracts
  • Work with external auditors to evaluate security and safety of smart contracts
  • Take engineering projects from concept and design to production
  • Work with engineering leaders and product team to create sound and realistic roadmaps

Requirements For Blockchain Engineer

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent blockchain/smart contract development experience
  • Proficiency developing in Solidity; familiarity with precompiles
  • Understanding of software engineering and security best practices, in particular smart contract security
  • Experience interacting with dapps/web3
  • Experience shipping and taking engineering projects to production
