Token Metrics is a pioneering company in the cryptocurrency investment space, providing AI-powered solutions for crypto portfolio management. They're seeking a Smart Contract Engineer to strengthen their Engineering team's blockchain capabilities. The role focuses on building critical infrastructure for the Ethereum ecosystem, including cross-chain bridges and implementing smart contracts for private, auditable transaction systems.

The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in the entire development lifecycle of smart contracts, from design to deployment, while ensuring the highest security standards through external audits. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain technology while serving a diverse customer base across 50+ countries.

As a Smart Contract Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing Token Metrics' privacy and scalability infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in Solidity and smart contract development, combined with a solid understanding of blockchain security practices. You'll collaborate closely with engineering leaders and product managers to create and execute realistic project roadmaps.

Responsibilities For Blockchain Engineer

  • Design, implement, test, and deploy EVM smart contracts
  • Work with external auditors to evaluate security and safety of smart contracts
  • Take engineering projects from concept and design to production
  • Work with engineering leaders and product team to create sound and realistic roadmaps

Requirements For Blockchain Engineer

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent blockchain/smart contract development experience
  • Proficiency developing in Solidity; familiarity with precompiles
  • Understanding of software engineering and security best practices, in particular smart contract security
  • Experience interacting with dapps/web3
  • Experience shipping and taking engineering projects to production
