With a presence in over 100 universities and ongoing international expansion, Tomax is seeking a Junior level Fullstack Engineer to join their team.
As a Full-Stack developer at Tomax, you will be part of an agile environment, contributing to the development of scalable services and components. Your role will involve turning requirements into simple, elegant, and optimal solutions, working closely with team members and other groups to achieve company goals. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality code, collaborating effectively, and aspiring to engineering excellence.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong experience in Node.js or PHP is essential, along with proficiency in modern web frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular. You should have a deep understanding of frontend architecture and experience in building large-scale web applications. Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and API design is crucial.

Requirements For Junior level Fullstack Engineer
- Bachelor in Computer Science or SW Engineering
- 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Strong Experience in Node.js or PHP
- Experience working with a modern web framework (React / Vue / Angular)
- Ability to write clear, high-quality and maintainable code
- Deep knowledge and understanding of frontend architecture and experience in building large-scale web applications
- Experienced with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.) good working knowledge of SQL
- Experience in API design and best practices
- Strong base on AWS or any other cloud provider (advantage)
- Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB), designing schema (advantage)
- A Team player
- Coding skills in JavaScript coupled with a strong base in object-oriented design and functional programming
- Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of Object-Oriented Designs and Design Patterns
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
