Description For Business Developer

Too Good To Go is a mission-driven B-Corp fighting global food waste, which contributes 8% to global warming. With over 107 million users across 19 countries, they've saved 388 million meals and prevented over 1 Million tonnes of CO2e emissions. As a Business Developer, you'll join their rapidly expanding Belgian team, working to connect with and onboard food businesses like restaurants, butchers, bakeries, and supermarkets. The role combines field work with office-based activities, initially based in Ghent with a planned move to Brussels in 2025. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Dutch/English), passionate about sustainability, and have strong sales capabilities. Responsibilities For Business Developer

  • Identify and connect with potential food business partners
  • Conduct in-person and phone-based partner outreach
  • Represent and pitch Too Good To Go to business owners
  • Train new partners and convert them into brand ambassadors
  • Contribute to expanding the company's presence in Belgium

Requirements For Business Developer

  • Fluent in Dutch and strong in English
  • Experience or strong interest in sales and/or business development
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong perseverance and resilience in sales
  • Willingness to conduct in-person visits to potential partners
  • Comfortable with phone sales
  • Eagerness to learn new sales techniques
